I hope for this podcast to spark many neurons in our brains to see that we can attain rewards in looking after ourselves, our mind, our body and our deen and when this is done, it also helps those close to us and around us. Prior to Islam my views on fitness and nutrition was typical, maybe also like you before, or even now. "It's mostly about how I look!"...and not pondering on what our bodies are for, and how to use fitness and nutrition as a form of gratitude, growth & prevention. I also discuss how the perfection of consistency in a journey, can potentially cause more failure as a busy mum.
